Charles Morin

Dr. Morin is a professor of psychology and Director of the Sleep Research Center at Laval University in Quebec City.

He holds a Canada Research Chair in Behavioral Sleep Medicine. He has conducted clinical research on insomnia for the past 25 years and has been PI on several randomized clinical trials of insomnia therapies and hypnotic discontinuation. He has published more than 200 articles and chapters and has written six books on insomnia and sleep disorders (H-index 72, > 20 000 citations). Given his extensive experience in conducting clinical research on insomnia, including multiple intervention studies with older adults, Dr. Morin brings a unique expertise to this application. He will provide guidance in adapting the insomnia intervention to older adults and will play an active role in reviewing data and manuscript preparation.
